Another possible issue is abandoned orders. This issue is present if your system uses the PayPal payment portal to complete complete registrations. During the checkout process, teachers are redirected to PayPal. If for any reason they do not complete the payment, the order is marked as "abandoned" and the registration is put in "limbo".
